Thank you for stopping in to see this today John. Tip for your home owners when they are folding clothes......We place the tshirts on a flat surface, then we use a piece of cardboard 8.5" x 11" laid flat on the tshirt and fold all the edges inward, then slide the piece of cardboard out. The shirt is perfectly folded and it goes on the shelf.

Well done Michelle. I tell my clients that buyers will open closets (and cabinets) so they need to send the same message to their buyers as the rest of the house.

Hi Kathy, you can imagine the buyers face when they see a perfectly staged home and open a closet or pantry door to see everything in disarray. I know you recommend the same ideas for your staged homes.

Hi Michelle ~ you're right about the closet being a factor in how buyers will perceive the home's appeal.  An organized closet shows that everything has a place (and implies that all of the house is well organized as well).  Nice examples.

exactly Maureen, everything in it's place and a place for everything. Buyers are tired of living in their home with nowhere to put anything and they feel the pressure of everyday life. When we organize the closets it gives them a feeling of being relaxed and able to lead a calm life.
