This custom home was designed in 1964 for builder O. L. Jacobson. It was designed by local Seattle architect George W. Lucker who passed away in 2013. George W. Lucker produced several contemporary home designs in Seward Park, Magnolia, Mercer Island, including many apartment buildings in the metro area. Mr. Lucker’s collective regional contribution to the Northwest Modernism Architectural Movement in Western Washington (WEWA) is cited in the Documentation and Conservation of the Modern Western Movement a non-profit architectural preservation group in Seattle, WA
