Domain Names for sale

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Complete Solutions BK3048059

We all have web sites.  We all work hard at getting our search engine rankings up there as high as possible.  We all want to be #1 on google, because google means leads.  I have heard that having key words in your domain name helps with search engine rankings.  Having key words in your domain name is also good for the public, as domain names are displayed in search results, so having your key words there makes it easier for the searcher to see what your site is about.  I am selling some of my domain names.  Most are real estate related.  Many a Florida and southeast Florida related.  Please contact me if you are interested in any of them.  I have posted a list of my domain names for sale on my web site with prices.  The prices are negotiable, so feel free to make an offer.  Thanks!

Call me crazy, but $5000 for each domain name...  I hope you have a first class site built behind each of the domain names with prioprietary content that you are transfering with each of the domains.  I did a quick search via Godaddy for the domain http://www.SearchBocaHomes.com/ and see that its available for $9.95 for a year...  Now if you were selling each of the domains for say $100 a domain I could see maybe looking through them, but $5000 per domain...

Jennifer... Using Realtor in your domain name such as BOCARATON-REALTOR.COM can create problems. I used to have one that was FtCampbellRealtor.com and got a letter telling me to discontinue the use or get fines.. The only time you can use Realtor in your domain is with your name or company name as this is a Registered Trade Mark. I would hate to spend $20,000 and then get fined and not be able to use the domain.

Roland is correct.  The NAR polices this matter and takes it seriously.

Also, hyphenated URLs are generally considered "damaged merchandise" since most consumers will not remember to put the dashes in the URL and will just type the words across.

WOW, are you really in Real Estate as a pro or to just turn quick bucks?

Domain name is only part of the picture.  Age, conent, etc play a big part.  If you had a site generating 30,000 visitors a month, then you have a domain with value....

Gita & Stefan - Thanks!

Roland & Steve - Yes, realtor in a domain name is not a good  choice for a realtor but has a great value to those "directory" sites seeking keyword based domans that are only around for a short time, until google strips them of their ranking as spam.  And, I like hypenated names, because they're easier to read. Few people remember your domain and type it in.  Most people see it else where on the web, where it catches their attention and causes them to click it. I have found the hyphens are fine for this as well as search engine rankings.

Glen & Greg - No need to get nasty.  If you're not interested, that's fine.  No need to question if I'm in real estate just becuase I'd like to sell a few domains off.

Bonner - I had to price them somewhere.  If you see one you like, make me an offer.

All - As we know from real estate, it is all supply and demand, and prices go up and down.  I'm sure I'm priced on the higher side, as I a realor not a domain name specialist, and it's easer to drop prices than raise them.  Besides I have plenty of negotiating room built in.
