Homes for Sale Near Bethesda Elementary

There are lots of reasons to want to live in the Bethesda Elementary School District.  The neighborhood is close to the Metro, world class medical facilities and research institutes, and downtown Bethesda. The streets are tree shaded and quiet. There are sidewalks and people walking dogs.

If you want to live in a great school district and be able to walk to the metro or to downtown Bethesda with lots of restaurants, shops and movies, then this is the school for your family.

As you can see, the school map straddles Wisconsin Avenue through the middle of Bethesda starting on the left side of Wisconsin Avenue at Bradley Blvd and on the right side at East West highway, and then including areas such as Edgemoor, Glenbrook Village and the condos and apartments on Battery Lane between Old Georgetown and Wisconsin Ave.   Some of the  most notable employers in the school district are the Walter Reed Medical Center (previously known as Bethesda Naval), Suburban Hospital and the National Institutes of Health.

There is a range of housing options in this school district. Single family homes will run from the mid 600s typically to approximately $1.5M.  To find a single family home in this school district, just click here.  A condo with two bedrooms will start in the low 300s along Battery and run into the millions for some of the new construction such as the Cheval on Old Georgetown Road or the Lauren.  To find a condo in this school district, just click here.

HOW MUCH IS MY HOME WORTH IN THE BETHESDA ELEM. AREA -  20814

Everyone wants to know what the value of their home is - particularly as the market goes from spring to summer.  Are prices up? Are prices really up? or is the market softening? Home values in Bethesda MD are increasing, but so are the number of active listings.  Like the DC market, inventory is decreasing in the Bethesda 20814 market.  There is now 3.0 months of supply, which is slightly below the 5 year average for this time of year.  However, the number of new listings on the market in May is above the 5 year average. Hopefully the increased inventory will not cool the Bethesda market.

Good morning Lise Howe ,

It's interesting to see the number of new listings on your market in May is above the 5 year average. It will be interesting to see if the increased inventory will cool the Bethesda market.  Why do you feel the market inventory is increasing..are they moving for jobs elsewhere?
