Gladwin County Fair 2017
The hustle and bustle begins Saturday July 15'th - Set Up Day and ends with Clean up Day Sunday July 23rd this year.
Reading the history or the fair, I was surprised to learn that the fair, although started in 1909, was discontinued from 1953 through 1975. Starting in 1976 a fair was held and has continued since through present.
In addition to the Carnival rides and the Fair Food, there are several shows to choose from and buildings with exhibits and vendors to go through.
The Demolition Derby has been our favorite event over the years.
I entered a decorated cake one year and received a ribbon and a chance to enter the State Fair! I was not able to - but would have been very cool! I thought!
