Changing little since it crawled out of the ocean over 350 million years agao, the scorpion still looks like it should be playing in the dinosaurs' back yard. Learn more about this fascinating creature, while using a black light to discover one unusual trait. Bring a sense of adventure! Trail difficulty is easy and mostly flat. Scorpion hunt will run close to 2 hours long.
Cost: Free
Meet the park ranger at the center: 15 minutues before sunset. There is a limit to 20 hikers.
Children under the age of 18 years ole must be accompanied by an adult!
What to bring: sturdy hiking shoes, water, snack, blacklight.
Don't forget your sense of adventure!
