5 Things Productive People Do Every Day

It has been a very tough week, and now we move on to another week that promises to be busy and challenging.

I hope you all are having a productive spring as well, and with that in mind I am sharing a little video with a few tips to make your week more focused and productive.

  1.        Start the day Calmly
  2.        Hold off on the email
  3.        Prioritize your tasks.
  4.        Minimize distractions
  5.        Make a To Do list, focused on your goals

Make it a great week!

Thanks for sharing! I agree with everything except the email part. I like to get my pending emails done first thing in the morning before my phone starts ringing.

Good morning Bob Crane,

A great list..thank you for sharing. I don't however hold off on the email..I check and respond first thing in the morning and throughout the day..I would have missed some good opportunities if I had not.

Saw your re-blogged post on Debbie's page.  Very interesting.  The video makes perfect sense and I had never considered NOT starting the day with email.  As I told Debbie, it seems to be you'd want to put out fires in the morning, but now that I think about it those emails would happen later in the day versus over-night.   Hmmm.  Food for thought . Thanks!

Hi Bob,

Thanks so much for sharing this.

Today is the first time I did not start my day with email. This was just a fluke and your post drove it home. This habit started way back in the corporate world. Coffee and email!  I started with AR and am much happier this morning and now I see why!!!!!! THANK YOU!
