We all have great memories of this time of year and nothing captures the summer season like a visit to the fair!
The big event for Central Ohio is of course the Ohio State Fair.
The fair kicks off July 26 and runs through August 6.
There are plenty of chances to visit the fair at discounted prices.
July 26- $3 admission until 3 pm
July 27- Bring in two canned food items before 4pm to receive a voucher for $3 admission
July 30- Miltary Day- Free admission for all military and veterans with appropriate ID
July 31- Family Day-Adults get in for the kid's price and kids under 12 are free
August 2- $5 Admission all day
August 3- AAA Day- Members get $ 4 admission by showing their card
August 4- Lottery Day Patrons 18 and up can bring a non winning lottery ticket for $4 admission
August 6- Pepsi Day- Bring an empty Pepsi product for $3 admission
The Ohio State Fair always brings in great entertainment and this year is no exception. Headline acts include Alabama (July 29) comedian Gabriel Iglesia (July 30) for King and Country (July 31) George Thorogood (August 2) Rascal Flatts (August 3) and the Pentatonix concert is alreay sold out.
So many traditions await you at the fair including seeing the Butter Cow statue and exploring the expansive eight acre Natural Resource Park and say hi to Smokey the Bear. No visit to the fair is complete without a trip down the Giant Slide. Don't miss a chance to taste Velvet Ice Cream new flavor at the Dairy Barn made just for the fair. This year's flavor?
