Tredyffrin Easttown Real Estate - Buying New Construction
New construction is desirable to many buyers, but it comes at a cost in a built up area like ours where land is limited. The Main Line, Tredyffrin Easttown area is not like Charlotte NC which seems to discover new land every time you turn around for development. Here we have established neighborhoods, towns and villages.
If a large estate or part of one comes up for sale then we have an opportunity for new construction as we have seen with the Dupont Estate in Newtown Square, Liseter marketed by Toll Bros. who are very active in the Chester County and surrounding areas. Since making this video there have been several lots where builders have torn down an existing home and rebuilt using the original footprint a completely new home. These homes usually sell quickly although they do tend to be the larger home in a neighborhood of smaller homes until other lots get developed as well.
Parkview is in Chesterbrook located next to Wilson Farm Park around the old shopping center, a collection of town homes.
Berwyn has several townhome developments within the confines of the village, 1067 Lancaster and 28 Bridge being two of them and individual lots available with builder signs offering custom homes.
Paoli has another collection of town homes for sale not featured in our video.
As mentioned individual lots also get developed throughout the two townships and price will depend mostly on the cost of the land.
