Staging Your Fort Worth Home To Sell On A Budget. Before showing your home to any prospective buyers you want to make sure the staging is perfect.  No,  I'm not suggesting you hire a professional although I can help  if you choose to  use a professional stager.

To make the best impression keep your home clean,  neat,  uncluttered and in good condition.  A messy or dirty home will cause prospective buyers to notice every flaw.

First Impressions have a major impact on a potential buyers opinion. What will a buyer see when they approach your house for the first time?

You do not have to spend a fortune to make a difference.  Small changes can make a room appear larger and brighter.  Rather than beginning large scale renovations that could be costly start with small changes.  Paint is inexpensive and can make a huge impact on the prospective buyer.  Stay away from bold colors - stick with neutrals a soft stubble color palette.  Use different variations of the same color throughout your home.

Modernize your kitchen.  Think simple.  Homeowners can alter the appearance of their kitchen and bathrooms without spending a lot of money. Painting cabinets, changing knobs and purchasing matching towels with hand towels - these are all simple changes that can make a big impact.

Clean your counter tops. Tuck away items in matching baskets.  Floor area rugs maybe attractive but actually I believe they take away from your floor space.

Add color and style with artwork available from discount stores.

Update your window treatments.  Coordinate colors throughout your home. purchase attractive bedding and organize all your closets.

New lighting fixtures are a quick way to create ambiance.

Tobacco, pets and cooking odors can also be a turnoff for visitors.  Do not over use air fresheners- this could be offensive to potential buyers.

Keep your garage doors closed and the driveway clear.   If you own an RV or boat park them  away from your home during showings.

Don't hesitate to contact me if your planning to sell your home this year.
