The Only Way to Prove You’re a Good Sport

“The only way to prove that you’re a good sport is to lose.”

Ernie Banks 1931 – 2015, American Major League Baseball

Player, Member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame

As I see it . . . . . . .

The only way to prove you’re a good sport

When we are working with customer’s . . . . your goal is to successfully do business with them. Be a good sport in your success.

As kid when we ran a race . . . . we did our best to win. As kid we were good sport in winning a race.

Good sports . . . . play to win. Be a good sport when you win.

When we lose be graceful in the moment . . . . Get your head back in the game . . . . and put your setback behind you. Be a good sport when you lose. Look at what took place . . . . and find the best way for it not to happen again in the future.

Some people say the only way to prove you’re a good sport . . . . is in losing . . . . Prove you’re a good sport in succeeding . . . . in winning . . . . and in achieving your goals.

And, it's not whether you win or lose that matters most, it's how you played the game.
