Multiple Marketing Campaigns

I've started a few marketing campaigns that I've recently started.  I finally received my new business cards for real estate and mortgages.  Now that I can double market both jobs, I should be able to attract more business in the future.

One of my marketing campaigns is buying leads from a company.  I'll have to keep everyone posted on how this turns out.  Its an experiment that I'm hoping will lead to a lot of business.  The other campaigns are ideas that I came up with for my area.

Hi Greg,  Buying leads is not a marketing campaign.  Marketing and attracting leads is.  And it's so easy that I wonder why anyone would pay for leads unless they had so much business to work that they had absolutely no time to prospect.  Even then, I still wonder.

Keep us posted on how this goes.  I am always skeptical of these lead buying companies.  Most are quite expensive.

Greg,

I agree with Joe.  Buying leads is not the best way to go.  You would probably be better off spending the money on marketing (google ad words, postcards etc).  Many lead generation companies play games in generating the leads.  If you don't know exactly how the leads are being generated you could have an uphill battle.

Good luck.

Maybe I should have called it Marketing To-Do's.  I'm just trying out buying the leads to see how this one works.  Its always an uphill battle getting new clients.  Buying leads for mortgages is different than real estate.  The company I'm using was referred to my by the broker I work for.  He didn't have time to try it.

Greg,  You can "buy" you own leads by paying Google Adwords for hits to your website.  It can be pretty inexpensive.   Yahoo has the same program as well.
