Pets and Fireworks do not mix well. Most pet savvy people will share and advise you ‘face- to- face’, when they meet you and the conversation comes up about pets and Fireworks. Generally you are able to read all over the internet on the various social media platforms the simple message: keep your pets indoors and have soft music on, to shelter them from the scary sounds of explosions as well as the visible Fireworks in the sky.
It has been so many years, that I cannot even recall when the last time Diane and I went to see Fireworks outdoors. If I had to guess I would say at least ten or more years ago. Now with that said we stayed at home again. We were invited by the neighbors to stay and enjoy the local illegal fireworks and to watch the legal ones as well. We opted against it.
Instead, I watched a great Red Sox game on TV and could watch another Red Sox victory. Once the game was over, I came into my home office to check my emails and see what is going on in the world.
Diane and our cat Jill, decided to stay in the living room and watch the Fireworks.
Seriously those of you who read my blog posts know that I always brag about the fact that our pets are different from others. Now with that said look at this picture and tell me I am exaggerating.
