Our police department offers a free service called the Lake Havasu Vacation Security Check. Residents simply fill out a request form on the Lake Havasu Police Department website here. During the time indicated on your request, police officers or department volunteers come by your Lake Havasu home to check for possible suspicious activity. They'll look for open doors, broken windows, ripped screens, etc.

Each Havasu household is allowed no more than 30 days per calendar year for the free Lake Havasu Vacation Security Check service. After submitting your request, department personnel will review it and let you know via email whether it was approved or rejected. Request review takes place during normal business hours (Monday through Friday).

Other Ways to Keep Your Havasu Home Secure While You're Away
