Oklahoma Aquarium Summer Special Events
Here in Tulsa, we are proud to be home of the Oklahoma Aquarium where you can take part in all kinds of find activities unique to here. Summer is mid-way through and if you are looking for ways to keep the kids busy, the aquarium has plenty to offer. For example, the animal feeding schedule is online, there is an aqua-tots class, and special events like sleeping with the fishes of the sea.
HomeSchool Days
On July 7th, come to the quarterly homeschool days where all homeschooled children are invited to the aquarium for a special rate. This is just something special the aquarium does for the community. Tickets are $11.95 to $15.95. Check the calendar for other homeschool days in the future
Marine Biologist for the Day
Have a marine biologist in the making? This is a great event for the kids, either way. Children who participate receive hands-on learning and experience as they take care of the animals. They get to see all of the behind the scenes events that take place on a given day. For children ages 12 to 16, give them memories they will hold on to for years to come! ZZZs in the Seas
This is another one of a kind experience that the Oklahoma Aquarium offers. This is basically a big fun aquatic sleepover! Choose from many exhibits such as sharks, stingrays, seahorses, and come ready to relax. The evening includes fun like a flashlight tour, scavenger hunt, movie, and snacks! Bring your sleeping bag and huddle up. See the beauty and peacefulness of the ocean creatures at night and wake up to them. Click here for the link!
