Do you have a "DOT" key?

I don't think that I do.  However, it is assumed that EVERYONE has one I think.  Why else would they tell me to use it so much?

Maybe my keyboard is defective, but I can't locate the "DOT" key.  Everything any more is DOT this or DOT that...and I'm here without a DOT key.

Here is a key that has been on my keyboard for as long as I can remember typing, but it's called a period key.

When did the "PERIOD" key become the "DOT" key?  I don't know for sure...I must have missed that memo.  Or maybe I had the wrong "DOT" address.

Are you saying you don't like "......" or just people calling the period key a dot.

To me the "......" is the silence or nod in a conversation.

Peter --might be an untapped market!

Eric -- I use the ....all the time. But as I drove around this morning, the radio kept yelling DOT this and DOT that and I wondered, what ever happened to the PERIOD! :)

Are kids even taught the PERIOD in school anymore or do they just call its a DOT?

I think they should put a .com key right on the keyboard, just make the shift button a little smaller.

I use "..." all the time.  Maybe I use it too much?  It means "etc." or "think about it" (amongst other things) to me.
