Outdoor Movies at NCMA: Say Anything
The Scoop: Don’t miss out on a great movie night at NCMA! Underachieving, aspiring kickboxing instructor, Lloyd Dobler has the quirky touch of a poet. He is sweetly obsessed with Diane, a brainy girl with an overprotective dad, in this iconic Gen X teen dream movie. The image of John Cusack and his boom box lifted overhead, blasting Peter Gabriel’s “In Your Eyes,” defined true love for a generation.

Bike to the North Carolina Farmer’s Market
The Scoop: Join Oaks and Spokes and East Coast Greenway Alliance for a 4 mile greenway bike ride to the NC Farmers Market. The group will be meeting at Chavis Community Center (by the carousel) at 10:00am for this fun ride!

Full Moon Paddle: Buck Moon
The Scoop: Experience the beauty and tranquility of Lake Benson at night. Participants will paddle in a canoe or solo kayak at their leisure, have access to a telescope to view the moon and enjoy s'mores.
When: Sunday, July 9th beginning at 8:30 PM.
