EXCELLENT information Stacy!  FSBO's would have a much easier go of things if they called you in advance of marketing their home.  Then they would know what to expect in advance.  Great post!

Duane--I think there needs to be someone around that can help point people in the right direction. I know I've appreciated the extra help I've been given throughout the years in the "real estate business." The process of selling (or buying) a home is pretty overwhelming for someone that doesn't do this for a living, so I just try to help them get on the right path, and put myself in their position,-- trying to talk about the things that they will understand and can do to help themselves, while passing along the needed info.

Stacy, you have the right idea, help people and the return can be great.

Now that is a novel idea - a title company recognizing a growing market and targeting a real FSBO need. I think that we will need to add that to our own company marketing.
