Mid May Market Trends Hood River County

Good News! The market is picking up. So far in the month of May 2008 in Hood River County we have the following statistics per RMLS listing data. I have had more showings and seen more people out and about looking in my Hood River neighborhood.  

Current homes sold to date May, 2008-Hood River County-9 homes have already sold compared to 10 sales for the entire month of April 2008 in Hood River County.

Hood River-reporting 6 homes sold   Cascade Locks-reporting 1 sale    Parkdale-reporting 2 sales

Another encouraging sign are the number of homes currently sale pending-20 homes under contract.

Now is a good time to buy a home. There are lots of homes on the market. Inventory is high with plenty to choose from.  263 homes currently listed in Hood River County. This does not include any FSBO's and I know about some of those as well.
