Learning curves many times are mistaken for knowledge. We have the ability to do most anything. These curves are introductions to knowledge or just the beginning stages. Ân experience is the next stage and that is the one that teaches, rewards and even introduces us to more learning curves. Where we get into trouble is as follows:
SUBSTITUTING LESS?
There is no substitute for experience. It is the necessary follow-up to the choice made and helps us to recognize, adjust, practice and fine tune our activity to our satisfaction. Some experiences are serious in nature when they involve health, welfare, gain, loss & specifically a certain outcome. No less is required
REALITY
If we use Robinson Crusoe as our example, the true story of a man stranded on an island for years who was city bred. He had no idea what it was like to survive on his own being dependent on outside services and sources. After the first few hours and then days, reality sunk in & survival needs followed
SEEK TO LEARN
Food, shelter, safety & solutions where upon him proving that humans have the ability to address what comes there way. There is that learning curve that must be respected & he began using focus fueled by determination and need as well as want. He began over time to solve problems successfully
BECOME AWARE
No one has ever been here before including the very moment you are in even as you read this and as I write it. Evey moment is a first time experience that we have learned to process without a second thought. It is the choices we make that take us into a deeper existence but we must travel with caution
CAN DO
We are waiting on our confidence levels to rise to the occasion we chose and we are in. Trial & error will visit with you commonly know as mistakes that bring setbacks, other choices & if we are lucky no serious damage or regret. We wont know what to expect as we go but we proceed with optimism
FOCUS
What startles us is that some adventures come with no second chances or do-overs. One must weigh the risk if they can. Here is where your gut goes to work along with your conscience and common sense that communicates without words to pause, ponder, assess or pass as well as proceed at a slower pace etc.
ASK FOR HELP
Necessity is truly the mother of invention for us all. Each one of us has a skills bank that they can activate to help our task or pursuit that triggers common sense or to ask for help when wanting to problem solve to bring about a specific outcome or result. All is possible especially with help given
LEARNING CURVE COME FORWARD PLEASE
Aren't there subjects, services & products that exceed our understanding to solve or use but we recognize they are necessary? How about making financial decisions? Personal decisions like marriage and having kids? Dating? Friendships? Buying or selling anything? The learning curve awaits & serves
BECOMING PROFESSIONAL
If you go back to the root or beginning of any service, product or inquiry, when first introduced, it is lacking the full picture but the full picture is there but needs to unfold. The thing is that while we can as a rule accomplish anything, are we any good at it? Do we excel or get by? Professional anyone?
I'M READY WHEN YOU ARE
If you have lived for some years, you have had time to discover what you can do, not do and like or don't like and where you can accomplish or outsource various subjects. We don't know and won't know until we do know. It comes when it comes and we can process it at that time as to how to proceed
HAVE YOU DONE THIS BEFORE?
How about buying and selling a home? Look at how monumental this is because of the details and large amounts of money and procedures. Remember, this is one of those where you don't get to do over. Travel is another. Don't we need to know where we are going, what to expect and what to take with us?
LIFE AFTER THE CURVE
Experience teaches. Some people find out how much they enjoy the realm they entered recognizing a passion driving them and they end up becoming masters and making a career out of what they discovered. The rest of us then go to these people for help as needed. All categories included too!
READY WHEN YOU ARE
Some careers are regulated by rules, regulations, ethics and licensing too. Others are just about naturally and the end result is the world you see and live in now. The key to it all? See how you don't know but would like to and expect the next step to then throw you a curve...a learning curve
