Doubling Down.....

I think it is a gabling term associated with blackjack, but to me it is simply something I do on occasion to help out at work. A double is doing two concerts back to back throughout the course of a day without a break. Sometimes the venues vary but the time spent is the same. I'm working tonight but not on a double.

Over the weekend I have two days of doubles. It is hard because it means standing on your feet for hours and hours. Fortunately it is offset by lovely music and mostly happy people at Tanglewood. So for now, I'm off to let folks into a largely vocal program entitled "Humor in Song."
