Milwaukee, the city of Festivals in Southeastern Wisconsin once again comes alive with ethnic tradition of Italian Style with Festa Italiana celebrated at Henry Maier Park on the shores of Lake Michigan July 21- 23. The hours of the weekend long event are:
Friday: 3:00 p.m. – Midnight
Saturday: 11:30 a.m. – Midnight
Sunday: 11:30 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Days filled with entertainment for the festival include cultural exhibits, bocce, gondolas, and fabulas food topped with what some people believe are the best fireworks of the summer.
If your appetite is adverturous...you may try to beat last year's record at the Cannoli eating contest...last year won consuming 9 cannolis in 4 minutes....Donated by the locally famous Peter Scortino's Bakery....whether you join the contest or not...you will want to enjoy this delicious Italian pastry.

The marketplace features everything from chocolates to silver, scarves to
tasty vino.....vendors neaer and far come to exhibit their wares at this traditional festival.
Sunday features a traditional Catholic outdoor mass at 11 am celebrated by Milwaukee Native Auxillary Bishop Jeffrey Haines.
