Do What "Old School" Doctors did....????

It has been a busy June and July for us in our household...with barely enough time to jot down some thoughts....but the mind created many incredible thoughts; one of which I will share with you shortly.

 

Now I fully understand why mini-vacations are a must...to revive the spark of imagination that seems to sputter at times in our every day environment.

 

So before we begin....I am sharing a few pictures with you, as we Real Estate Agents and Brokers do have a personal life...and need a break from business on occasion...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now back to our regular scheduled program...

 

I had this "AH HAH!!!!" moment while out hiking and it made total business sense on being different...

We as Real Estate Professionals go and preview houses, do listing appointments in person, you know...like Physicians at one point in time made house calls. Sooooo....do we do the same with those that plan on buying a home?  

 

Here is the logic:

 

Ask yourself, how many "No Shows" have you had over the years? You set an appointment with a prospective home-buyer, they say yes...and then a no call, no show, and zero return call...we move on...

 

Now....let us change the strategy. Set the appointment to do a house call...be different from setting the appointment at the office. This is a two-fold purpose, it gives you an idea of how serious they are of buying a home (when they welcome you into their home you know), and it also provides a more personal touch using FORD...not Chevy....(Family, Occupation, Recreation, Dreams)...something an office visit or hiding behind a keyboard lacks...

Great, interesting, and fun post to read. It's a great idea to offer to see clients at their home. It makes a great impact for no shows and last minute cancellations. Your absolutely right, it adds to the personal touch/relationship.
