Don’t Make the Same Mistake a Second Time
“Success does not consist in never making a
mistake. But in never making the
same one a second time.”
George Bernard Shaw 1856 – 1950, Irish Playwright,
Critic, Polemicist, Founder of the London, School,
Economics and Political Science
As I see it . . . . . . .
Don’t make the same mistake a second time
About the only time that we don’t make mistakes . . . . is when we’re doing nothing. But doing nothing is the mistake . . . . of not using our time productively . . . . and wasting our talent.
Mistakes will happen . . . . When they do . . . . use them as a learning experience . . . . and make the comment to yourself not to repeat same mistake in the future.
Use a mistake as a building block to becoming better at what you do . . . . Also when you learn for your mistake . . . . there will be an eternal alarm that will go off in your sub-conscious thinking. That alarm will caution you to slow down to rethink what you’re about to do.
Listen to your sub-conscious thinking . . . . and you will be in a position to make a better decision . . . . and don’t make the same mistake a second time.
