The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy and Art to Grow On, Inc, will be sponsoring “Summer Impressions” workshop at the beautiful Terranea Resort located on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. This family fun-filled event will take place on Sunday, July 23, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The outing begins with a family coastal hike down the discovery trail with activities along the path which helps the young artists notice patterns of color, objects and the different textures seen in nature. During the walk, they will be looking for different animals and plant life which make up the theme for the summer project. Then, the young artists will take their new skills and transfer all their new impressions into their own masterpieces. This is a great event for children over 3 to enjoy. There is limited space, reservations are required and you are encouraged to register early. The price is only $25 per family.
Meet at the pelican statue next to the Pelican Cove parking lot between the Point Vicente Lighthouse and Terranea Resort. Pelican Cove is located at 31300 Palos Verdes Drive South, Rancho Palos Verdes.
To RSVP, contact Jill Wittman at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (310) 541-7613. Terranea Resort is located at 6610 Palos Verdes Drive South, Rancho Palos Verdes.
