Recently I had the pleasure of sitting an Open House in The Moorings. The Moorings and nearby Coquina Sands are two fabulous areas here in Naples that are located between the Gulf of Mexico and Rt.41. Many of the homes offer easy walking distance to the beach or waterfront access itself. There are boat docks, bays to enjoy as well as the Gulf and variety of home styles.

Presently the area has single family residences as well as condominiums. There are some very grand new homes being built or recently finished and also many older homes available for renovation or tear down purposes. Many of these offer spectacular lots with water views. The older homes were typically built in the mid 1960's and 1970's and offer a peek back at the traditional Florida get away home.
This area offers convenient access to Rt. 41 and 5th Avenue, beautiful landscaping, manicured lawns and The Moorings has a Country Club located on Crayton Rd. and private beach access. Coquina offers homes within walking distance to the Naples Hotel and Beach Club for sunset jazz, golf, tennis, or spa days. Another selling point is the Gulf of Mexico is within walking distance as well as the ever popular Lowdermilk Park Beach area.
Lowdermilk not only offers public beach access with covered picnic areas, bathrooms, and play areas for children but across the street is a John R. Wood office, Sunshine Pharmacy, and Restaurants ( to name a few). For those home buyers looking to be within the City of Naples limits this is the place for you!
Prices in The Moorings for single family can range from $700k to $6+ million. Condo's can range from $190k on up.. The Open House I was at was a brand new home brimming with elegance and custom features and is available NOW (pictured below)!

Shannon, you cannot sell us on Naples Florida, have a condo there and we just love it so much and whenever we go, we hate to come home! We go to 5th Ave alot, as well as the pier.......we try to get there for about 3 weeks in late January into February, kind of breaks up the winter.....and, if we can get there 3-4 times a year, we are happy! And the time to buy there is great!!!!!
