Moving easements Part 2

By

OK, I just got back from a meeting with the county health department and a private surveyor. Below you will find the attached steps to getting an easement moved and hopefully more details to help out with doing land deals. I hope this helps out anyone looking for help.

OK
1.    Get the county health department involved and they will provide a list of the Private surveyors
2.    set up an appoint with the private surveyors who should also bring out the county health department.
3.    Private surveyors will then come back and adjust the property and submit to the county health department what they believe will work.             oh yes
4.    County department says looks good now get a surveyor out to survey the land so it can be presented back to the county department                 to be prepared to be recorded at the register of deeds office.
5.    Seller goes to the County Health department and take the survey over to the register of deeds office.
6.    Now the seller can go back to the county health department and get a permit for all of this and move forward.

With being on step three, we were told we are about a month away from being at the stage for the permit.

Once again I will do a part 3 so everyone knows how these steps go and if any changes were made to the steps.

What a great learning process. I am really having fun. Plus I know I will need thise information down the road and since I have done it once I will know the process. I have it written down and the names of who to go to.
