School Starts in Clarksville TN August 7, 2017
There are just a few more days to sleep in before the buses start rolling in Clarksville/ Montgomery County, TN. Check out the Clarksville/Montgomery County School System’s Website to determine your child’s school, school opening times and schedule for bus services.
The school
supplies list is posted on the website, too but don't jump the gun because Taxfree Weekend is July 28-30 and will save you 9.5% on back to school clothes and shoes and school supplies.
Please note that some school zones have changed from last year so check the bus routes and school registration site.
Not only is school starting in two weeks but school sports and activities are beginning, too. Clarksville Montgomery County School System posts the school system's calendar news and events on the website so you will know what is happening and when.
August 7 is a half day of classes with the first full day August 9. Teachers and staff report days before and the administrative staff is at the schools now to help with registrations.
When school starts, drivers need to be extra cautious and aware of school zones, school buses and the laws that apply about not passing stopped school buses loading and unloading students. You will earn yourself a citation and could endanger the life of a child by not paying attention. We all want our children to be safe.
