Timing is Everything
Tuesday morning, I was on my way to get the key to give to the buyers at the closing, when I came upon a “break-out” herd of cows crossing the road. For as large as those animals are, they can move pretty quickly and, they were headed right toward the Ponderosa Realty office parking lot!
I drove slowly through the herd and continued on my mission, after all, I had a closing to get to!

The short drive to the cabin is beautiful, around Hiawatha Lake...
and down a narrow dirt road lined with wildflowers,
But, I kept thinking about those cows by the Ponderosa Realty sign, and what a great photo that would be for advertising. The copy would read something like:
“Looking for greener pastures?
Call Mary at Ponderosa Realty….”
I planned to get a quick photo of the cows near our office sign on my way back down, and it would have been a great shot, except when I drove by, there were no cows in sight!
Luckily, Crystal from our office, got a shot of the cows as they were passing through High Country Estates (which caused a great amount of distress for the neighborhood dogs too, I might add).
TIMING IS EVERYTHING, certainly in photography, buying and selling real estate, heart attacks, the stock market, break outs, air travel, popcorn, and if you think about it-
Timing is critical in almost every aspect of life!
