The square footage vs. price in Napa Valley would have me living in an 900-1,000 square foot home. Yikes. But just like our market shocks people, if that's where you've been for most of your life, it's probably not shocking at all.

I get that sticker shock comment quite often here especially from many outside CA. Our stats don't give a $ psf number but the highest I have heard of, nearing $2,000 psf. cheers cvc

This is only the second quarter and yes the $6.45M home was nice but very much a big rancher. The price was driven by the 11 acres and it is 200 feet outside Yountville's Town limits. cheers cvc
