Do you remember the song "Solid as a Rock: by Ashford & Simpson?
When my husband and I were up in Georgetown Colorado this past Sunday, I snapped a photo of this massive rock along the train ride.
I thought it was pretty cool with the speckles of moss growing on it. I wonder what it will look like if I go back a few years from now.
But for now, I have that song stuck in my head.
Hmm, so you didn't try to pick the rock up and take it home? Looks like it might be heavy, haha.

I am a big rock fan! At the front entrance to our community you can see all the sections of Coffeepot Rock that have fallen over time. they are probably 1 to 2 tons each...maybe more.
Yes, I remember that song! I'm always fascinated how big rocks sinetunes seem to appear out of nowhere, among smoother landscapes.
