 This article will be analyzing the Kill Devil Hills real estate market by comparing the sales of single family homes during the first six months of 2016 and the first 6 months of 2017. The spreadsheets below break down the single family home sales in the 2 distinct geographic areas of Duck. The 3 areas are:

Oceanside is the area of town located on the east side of RT12.

Westside or Soundside, is the area west of Rt 12.

The number of homes sold in Duck is on the rise with a 20% increase in sales on the ocean side during the first half of this year compared to the first 6 months of last year and a 50% increase for west side homes.
