Smart

Measurable

Attainable/achievable

Relevant

Trackable/timebound

Thanks to my friend, Aziz, I learned this SMART way of life!

I have so many goals and dreams that I want to pursue and have learned that just doing it isn't always the smartest way to move forward!

 I have to be SMART!

I need to find measurable ways to mark my successes and achievements.
Through the use of calendars, charts and graphs, and accountability groups I have found that there are great ways to measure out my goals and dreams.

Whew - I am truly an over-achiever in many ways!
One thing that I am learning is that I need to find attainable goals.

Goals that are stepping stones to where I truly want to be. It's one step at a time.... Just one step.

If I have goals and don't make them relevant to my true end goal... then why is it part of my SMART plan? My goals are only as good as the outcome!

And, having trackable timebound progress goals are a great way to stay on track! This is another super place for that calendar and the mini-goals!

With SMART you just can't go wrong!

This is great advice and something I will be sure to follow.  I have let work control every aspect of my life lately, and NO MORE!  There is no excuse to not exercise, yet I have been finding them.  This group was in the back of my head and got me back at it!  SO, I ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE, TOO!

UnfortunatlyI have lived in the other end of the spectrum and I let life dictate my work progress.  Thanks for the slap in the face I have to workSMART to survive and that means that at times I need to set personal goals aside.  I have to find balance between work and personal endeavors
