The other guy missed this cracked heat exchanger. There were 4 more cracks like this little one.

How did you view this deficiency?

The yellow flame tip alerted me there was a possible  breach in the heat exchanger. I went back when the new furnace was installed & took a couple of photos for my collection.

When you say "the other guy" do you mean home inspector?

Yes, the seller had a prelisting inspection and he missed it or maybe the sellers hoped the buyers inspector would miss it. It was not real obvious.
