This was my day today selling Real Estate in Panama City Florida. Had this closing Been going round and round with the listing agent. When we made my buyers offer we put on or before August 8th. Last Monday we got our clear to close and asked to close Friday. The listing agent said her sellers need to pack. They hadnt even started. THey would need the weeked. So we set today to close. Seller at 11 buyer at 430 so seller would have extra time to get out.
Friday we asked if Sunday or Monday would be better for walkthru? Listing agent said Monday. So Monday at 2 we texted we are headed over to do walk thru. Get there at 3 lock box gone call listing agent no answer tried and tried finally got her ar 345 she said well if you had made an appt...Told her we did Friday and you said Monday. Well you didnt give me a exact time she says. I said there was a lock box on the door and you could of answered at 2 there wasnt. She then says well seller cant be out today. I asked why did she go sign this morning and no one told us. After going round and round my Buyers agree to close anyway the listing agent assures us that we can walk thru at 5:15.
WE go and close get to house 5:15 no agent 5:25 no agent I call her says she is on the way. 6 no agent 630 no agent. Wont return texts or phone message. Luckily the seller gave us her number when we met home inspector.
Call the seller. She says I didnt know anything about it. Says on my way. 7pm she shows up says agent has the keys. lol...She doesnt have a key. Calls one of her friends that had a key they come over finally at 715 we are in the house. The house is empty 90% clean. Seller says agent never told her she had to be out today...
And everyone thinks Real Estate is easy..........lol..lol..... Have a great day........
