This weeks Radio Interview on Minot Real Estate Today is with my best friend Jerry Kaup, sponsor coordinator for The GREAT Tomato Festival (as he has been for 28 years). So what does a social event like this have to do with Real Estate?

A vibrant, healthy community is good for property values. The GREAT Tomato Festival is the perfect example of what you would find in such a vibrant, healthy community. Hundreds of volunteers working together to pull off the social event of the year in an effort to support three institutions that add greatly to the Minot community.

Listen in as Jerry Kaup tells us what we need to know about this years GREAT Tomato Festival.

My point exactly Anna Banana Kruchten, CRS  and not just the event but the institutions that it supports as well. It all adds up to better property values in the end.

I was sitting here thinking. . .I don't know if there is a place here in California that has a Tomato festival.  We certainly ought to however.  I know many of them are grown in our Central Valley.

I gave up and Googled.  And, yes, there are a couple of places in our state that hold Tomato festivals.  One is several miles down the road from my home in Fairfield, California.  It's going to be held in a few days.

I have not investigated other tomato festivals Myrl Jeffcoat but I think ours is unique in the purpose it serves, to raise funds for community institutions. It sure has been successful with over 1,000 tickets sold in a community of 50,000 people. I hope you check out the one in Fairfield and report back to us on AR.
