Somerset is one of the more affordable Abacoa communities, and in my opinion the one with the best amenities. Originally built as a rental community, Somerset changed it's direction overnight during the boom / bubble of 2004. As condo conversions, buyers were offered 2 color schemes, 1 choice of tile set straight or diagonally, and that was the extent of the options. Black granite with light wood cabinets or lighter brown granite with darker brown cabinets. Back in the day, that was all the rage!
Somerset Abacoa Condos have great floor plans
There are a variety of units in Somerset. Choose from the 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath with 2 car garage 2 story, the largest of all the homes. There are also 1, 2 or 3 bedroom flats, many with courtyard views and optional detached single car garages. 3 story condos surround the pool area, most having a 3 bedrooms and rear loading 1 or 2 car garages.
The Somerset Common Ground areas Amenities
The amenities in Somerset are far nicer than the most expensive Abacoa neighborhoods, and feature an exotic community pool area, clubhouse house and fitness center. The amenities are located directly in the center of the Somerset and include a BBQ picnic area, large green space for playing sports, a putting green, mail center, elaborate play area for the kids and a car wash station to the north.
