Control Your Circumstances

Learning to accept the things within our control and having the ability to control what we can takes inner strength and courage. 

Good morning Lou.  Wise words that should be followed.  And, if I may add, understand your circumstances, also.

It is like steering a boat without a rudder Lou Ludwig. Take charge of your own destiny (fix that rudder) 

My problem is I'm always trying to be in control, and that's not good either!

Good Morning Lou - being in control of the cirmstances will insure that you have the outcome you want.

Lou, there are times things pop up that seem like big deals, but usually can be worked through successfully.

Lou, even if the circumstances aren't desirable we always have control of how we handle it. Great post.

Lou we can't always control circumstances but we can control how we chose to deal with them.

Reactions and solutions are what we can control and in the emotion of the moment...people sometimes forget how much control they really have !

Hi Lou --- sometimes it's best to simply step back and look at the big picture and what's most important.  Perspective.   Yes, perspective.  

One needs to weight the pro and cons based on the situation. Take charge and have the objective accomplished.

I don't know how I have missed some of your posts lately. I thank Carol Williams for "Second Chance Saturday".  We do control our own circumstances.

So glad I found this post of yours. I particularly like the comment "You won’t always be able to control the things that happen to you . . . . But you can control . . . . what you do about the circumstances that you find yourself in.

It's so important to take a step back or we end up making rash decisions that are you usually the wrong ones!

You can look for excuses . . . . for why you find yourself in the circumstances. You could try to blame your circumstances on someone else . . . . or you can be in denial about your circumstances.    

- but that is so much easier than actually trying to fix your way out of them!
