"Good times come and go but memories last forever."
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending my Granddaughter, Sarah's, wedding. It was a lovely setting under big trees at her Dad's house. It was a large gathering and I don't even know where to begin to describe the interesting mix of people and awesomeness of the gathering.
The mix of people made it interesting because there are so many mixed and blended families involved. I'm not going to get into the details of trying to explain it here. I barely understand it. LOL. Let me just say, I was so impressed by how everyone (all the ex's, step-kids, 1/2 siblings and all the rest)... just got along. We sat around and talked among each other and created an amazing memory day for Sarah.
The above picture is me with Sarah and her baby Josephine. Josephine's little brother, Curtis, can't seem to say "Josephine". He calls her Josie Bean. We like that. So, she is our little Josie Bean. Sarah got the syntax of marriage and motherhood mixed up (having the babies first) but all is right in the world now, as she and Matthew vowed their commitment to each other and their children before God and all the witnesses present.
This picture is me with Sarah's Dad... my step-son.
It was a fun day!
Congratulations on the wedding, Carol. Looks like a great time for all.

My husband drew me a family tree before he let me meet the family. After we were there, I found out he had to call and confirm who was who before he drew it for me.

Hi Gwen Fowler-CRS- 864-638-3599 SC Mountains & Lakes-- . Family geneology seems to be getting more confusing, doesn't it?
Congratulations on your granddaughter's wedding! Our families are very blended now ...just like most peoples.
It sounds like an ideal way to celebrate and congratulations Carol Williams
Good morning Carol Williams ,
I'm glad you posted your posts for the week you made last week as I missed this one! Congratulations on your granddaughters wedding! Nice day to remember.
Good morning Carol. I'm confused about the picture of you with "your Step Son." Oh well, glad you all get along.
