Ron and I are very fond of Barolo wines. Jane who co-owns Carpinteria Wine with her husband recommended this Barolo label (pictured above). Barolos are made fro the Nebbiolo grape are grown in the Piedmont region of Italy. They are used in both Barolos and Barbaresco wines. We really enjoyed this wine.
This wine rated a well deserved 93 from Wine Enthusiast, here are the winemaker notes:
"Aromas of rose petals and dried cherries give way to flavors of plum, black cherry, spice with tight grained tannins and a firm structure and a long, complex finish." The price ranges from $29.99 to 35.99, depending on where you buy it.
Cheers and a toast to al!l We wish you a great week ahead!
