For those of us living near the E470 Toll Highway, the ongoing construction has been a bit difficult to deal with at times.
Luckily, the projected completion date for this project is December 2017.
The $90 Million project began in the Spring of 2016. With more and more travelers using the toll road, it was time for some expansion. E470 states that traffic has increased 13 per cent each year since 2013.
It is very convenient from to jump on the toll road and avoid I-25 at all costs. Of course there is a hefty price to pay for this convenience. To drive from my house to Denver International Airport and back is $11.80 in tolls. Of course, the lack of traffic, increased speed limits and amount of time saved makes this worth the cost for me.
