This is in response to a blog that Simon posted where he showed his disappointment that Florida Legislature did not vote for the bill to make bestiality illegal. You can read his blog here:

Anyhow, in the spirit of addressing various laws that were, are and should and shouldn't be made, I found this neat little collection of current Stupid Florida Laws!!! Enjoy:-)Flirting with a Porcupine

One may not commit any “unnatural acts” with another person.
Unmarried couples may not commit “lewd acts” and live together in the same residence.
Corrupting the public morals is defined as a nuisance, and is declared a misdemeanor offense.
Doors of all public buildings must open outwards.
It is illegal to sell your children.
Women may be fined for falling asleep under a hair dryer, as can the salon owner.
A special law prohibits unmarried women from parachuting on Sunday or she shall risk arrest, fine, and/or jailing.
If an elephant is left tied to a parking meter, the parking fee has to be paid just as it would for a vehicle.Elephant
It is illegal to sing in a public place while attired in a swimsuit.
Men may not be seen publicly in any kind of strapless gown.
Having sexual relations with a porcupine is illegal.
It is illegal to skateboard without a license.
When having sex, only the missionary position is legal.
You may not fart in a public place after 6 P.M.
It is considered an offense to shower naked.
You are not allowed to break more than three dishes per day, or chip the edges of more than four cups and/or saucers.
Oral sex is illegal.
You may not kiss your wife’s breasts.
Penalty for horse theft is death by hanging.

It's only common sense to wear one but let's make your lack of common sense a crime.

Ok, I admit, it is strange that I could kiss an unmarried woman's parachuter's breasts on Sunday but not my wife's on any day. No common sense with either of those.

As for the bestiality, well, sex should involve consent from both p partners.

Ronald, every state has laws on the books that desperately need to be changed or scrapped alltogether. At the very least going over laws of these nature should make for some interesting session:-) Will look at your blog!

Mike - common sense is a pretty uncommon thing indeed. Few have it and fewer still use it, so i am actually quite surprised it's even called "common".  I am with you on the kissing thing!:-) It's pretty darn funny-

Sara, thank you for stopping by and a sweet comment. Scary as it is, at least it makes us laugh, until we realize that on any given Sunday we could be jailed for jumping out of an airplane. And the whole selling your kids thing being illegal bothers me, as a parent, you know. Can't beat them, can't sell them, what on earth is one supposed to do these days:-)

Doors of all public buildings must open outwards. This is not stupid, it is a common rule of safety: if people are rushing out of a building, for instance in case of fire, doors opening inward may hindrance the flow of persons
