The Solar Eclipse Begins at 10:23 am in Denver CO Today

Good morning, Belinda --- I'm not expecting much eclipse action around here --- I'll see the highlights later.

Hi Belinda glad you've got a pair of glasses. We're not going to get much here as it's clouding up already and we're on the fringe of the big event.  Have fun in your backyard.  I wouldn't be out on those highways - not a chance!

In Sacramento, we will get 79% coverage and the eclipse maxes at 10:17 AM. I don't have glasses, but I do have a pinholed paper bowl, LOL, and that works pretty well, when holding a paper plate behind it.

In Florida we will have it at 2:47 or so and will be at the ocean with I think a lot of people.

I didn't bother trying to see it, but I did notice that it got a bit darker outside of my window, haha.

You probably didn't have to go far to see 100% totality! But 92% is pretty darn good! I noticed it was much darker even at 75-78%!

Hi Belinda, glad you were able to get the glasses, hope you had a great view. We had nothing but clouds and thunderstorm.

Hi Belinda - That was pretty cool. We watched from our parking lot at work, mostly using the pinhole method since no one got glasses.

Hi Belinda- I think we were supposed to get about 80%. I left the hospital during the eclipse to make a run home and it was cloudy out but it was different from the usual cloudy day. Their seemed to be a weird tint to the sky overall and it did feel just a tad cooler.

Belinda it was a good day which I found very interesting. I made a box as we had no glasses and it was very little but at least we saw it.

I watched it live on the NASA channel. In Oregon was the most colorful I saw. Love your pic,

I watched it on TV. What I noticed here was the sun was sooooo bright, then it was somewhat cloudy and then the sun was out again.
