Point-monger | Post-monger | Competitive Satisfaction? Maybe!!

I’m not sure why other members are here, but I’m here because I want my phone to ring.  Does that mean I’m all business?  No, it certainly does not. I post on a variety of topics and not all are business related.

 

Not everyone enjoys all of the topics I select. Some members are bored with them, I’m sure.  My builders like seeing their properties with fresh blog posts written online “frequently.”  That’s a tough order to fill, but I need to do it. I know it’s boring to most to continue to read about new homes; the builder; and his subdivisions.

 

My main focus is to market our inventory, and hopefully, the products will sell before I wear out my welcome on the site. This brings me to the topic of members deleting their blog and removing themselves from the site because there are “point mongers” here.  Those who focus on accumulating points could be doing that because it satisfies their need to compete. 

 

 

They may not be successful with competing in their marketplace and this could fill that void!! Does it hurt anyone? No.  Does it irritate members? It shouldn’t. Do canned comments irritate members? Probably. Is it a reason to complain? No.

 

It makes no sense for a Rainmaker to jump off the cliff! There was a statement about a member writing about the weather. I comment on that post frequently.

 

Everyone deserves a comment, and every topic is a learning experience….and I love those 25 points!!!  Just kidding…..
