 John, how far do folks out there need to drill to get a good water supply and also how much does it cost to put a septic system in the soils out there?

Thanks for your comment, Dana Basiliere. Wells in this area run from around 300 feet to 1,200 feet and may cost from around $10,000 to $40,000.  The rules for a septic perc test have been changed so few lots will perc for a conventional septic system. An alternative system requires sign-off by engineering and will cost $10,000 to $15,000.
