If the dress fits, wear it!
I read an article recently, criticizing female entertainers. The article states that Sheraton Cadwell Orchestra's management decided only the 'physically fit and slim' should wear form fitting clothes to keep up appearances.
We live in a diverse world, where people of all shapes, sizes and weight are the norm. Family genes often play a part in that and some people are skinny, where others have more curves. It is definitely not for me to judge!
Or for anyone else, in my opinion.
Adele is plus size, Kelly Clarkson's weight fluctuates, Mama Cass was a large size woman, as is Susan Boyle. Think of all the talent that would have gone unheard of, had such restrictions been placed on them!
My response to those who seek that type of perfection in others:
There is no reason to body shame someone just because you can. That says A LOT about YOU. BTW if Culture Club had put their picture on the first album, they never would have had the success they did, due to people who place such importance on looks. And that statement came right from Boy George himself at a live concert we attended!
Your thoughts?
