I know that everyone has their opinion of widgets on profile pages but I happen to like all of mine. But one thing I did was adjust mine...not everyone has the same internet connections...same computer speed or even the same size monitors.
The more I blog the more aware I become. My favorite widget that I have is my geovisite globe!
The globe to me is much more than tracking...
1. First everyday I get the total number of readers.
2. Next I get the total number of visitors based on country.
3. Next anything green is a visitor
4. It reminds me that we can attract readers from all over the world
5. It reminds of the incredible power of the internet
6. I am aware there are readers on my blog 24/7...imagine that the power of the blog..I should take that into consideration when writing posts.
7. I now can figure out when the world is awake based on the green dots. I don't know about you but I am always asking about time zones.
If you haven't noticed the little globe on myside bar you might want to take a look. For me that globe is a reminder.. not only for tracking but the fact we can connect with people anywhere at any time.
