Resources for Texas REALTORS® affected by Harvey
The Texas Association of REALTORS® is committed to providing resources and assistance
to our members in the wake of Harvey. Find information below about how to apply for assistance
from TAR, donate to relief efforts, and other legal and informational resources you may need
following a natural disaster.
Apply for assistance from the Texas REALTORS® Relief Fund
REALTORS® and members of the public who've suffered losses due to Harvey can apply for up
to $1,000 assistance from the Texas REALTORS® Relief Fund.
Texas REALTORS® are encouraged to share the link to the application with those
in need of assistance.
How you can help those affected by Harvey
The Texas Association of REALTORS® Relief Fund helps people who have suffered losses due
to natural disasters in Texas. One hundred percent of donations go directly to those affected by
the storm, and contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Thanks to generous contributions from individuals and from state and local associations of
REALTORS® in Texas and around the country—and with more than $1 million dedicated
from NAR's REALTORS® Relief Foundation—the Texas Association of REALTORS® Relief Fund
will provide much-needed assistance to many people affected by this devastating storm.

Disaster reliefe legal resources are available for consumers. The State Bar of Texas hotline
is available to the public at 800-504-7030.
Other information and resources
Insurance help after Harvey. The Texas Department of Insurance has a list of information,
resources, and guidance for how to access help after Harvey. Consumers can also call
800-252-3439 to reach the help line.
Get your mail if you've been displaced. Those who've been displaced by Harvey can get their
mail delivered to a different location by filing a temporary address change with the U.S.
Postal Service.
