If you're looking to invest in home ownership for the very first time, I am writing this blog for you. I have been selling homes for nearly 2 decades (crazy, I know) something I take great pride in, is educating first time buyers. I have learned, but explaining the Home Buying Process from Day One, it makes the first time buyers much more relaxed as they know what to expect. I am working with my clients, buyers or sellers, from start to finish. What I mean by that is this; from the moment we first discussing Buying a Home or Selling a Home, that is our "starting line". The "Finish Line" is when we are sitting at the Escrow Company and you are signing your closing paperwork. When working with both Home Buyers and Home Sellers, as I do, its important to get the questions answered up front to ensure the process is smooth. Here is my Top 3 Questions to Ask a Realtor when buying a house, whether you use me or not, I always advise using a Professional Realtor when making the largest investment of your life.
1) How many years have you been working with Home Buyers?
My answer, nearly 20 (again, I work with both buyers and sellers)
2) Do you have a preferred lender who can refer me too?
My answer, Yes, but in Arizona, I cannot make you use my lenders so I offer suggestions.
3) Are you aware of special programs for home buyers?
My Answer, YES! (blows my mind how many 1st timers come my way and no one has educated them on the programs that are out there right now, to help them purchase a home)
