Downtown Littleton was recently noted in 5280 Magazine’s “Micro” Neighborhood Guide as a “new burb to explore”! 127 years new, Littleton is just 11 miles south of the bustling heart of Denver, and the vibrant suburb’s downtown center exhibits all the feels of a small town while remaining a cultural and community center for the surrounding neighborhoods.
Littleton has a population exceeding 44,000, and is home to many great attractions, but the true heart of the city resides in its historic downtown center.
Within the 10-block segment of the city that makes up downtown Littleton, there are a variety of businesses, specialty shops and restaurants that embrace the historical architecture while offering tempting fares like handmade chocolates, ice creams, fondue and brew bars to list a few.
Many annual events draw from neighboring communities as well as from around the world such as the recent 5th Annual Littleton Twilight Criterium held on August 5th which had an estimated 6000 spectators and more than 300 racers on the 1.3km course, according to an article in the Littleton Report.
In 2015, Littleton was ranked as the second-best small city in the US according to a WalletHub study reported in the Denver Business Journal.
You’ll find a variety of single family homes, condos and townhomes within walking distance to downtown Littleton that range in age from 130 years to brand new construction. If you’d like to explore buying or selling a home in the downtown Littleton area, please contact me.
